Chocolate Amore is absolutely incredible. A blend of fortified Merlot and natural Chocolate flavor, this would be perfect served alone or with a dark chocolate dessert (my first thought was to pour it over ice cream).

"This seriously-endowed, deep ruby/purple-tinged Pomerol reveals a beautiful perfume of graphite, mocha, black cherry, liqueur, and spice. Pure, full-bodied, powerful, and rich, but still young and unevolved, it should be at its peak between 2012-2025" - Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, Apr 2008

“A superb sleeper of the vintage, this Bordeaux blend from Jean-Luc Thunevin delivers everything it should. Loads of plum, cassis, and cherry fruit are found in this silky-textured, medium-bodied, pure, delicious effort. Thunevin has unquestionably hit a home run with this bargain-priced 2005. Enjoy it over the next 3-4 years. Bordeaux needs to make more wines such as this.” — Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate

From a 25-acre, old vine vineyard planted with 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 10% Carignan. After aging in concrete vats, it was bottled unfined and unfiltered. It boasts tremendous intensity as well as a big, sweet bouquet of creme de cassis, black cherry liqueur, licorice, and roasted meats bathed in Provencal herbs. With superb purity, full body, and no hard edges, this savory, mouthfilling red will drink well for 2-3 years.” — Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, June 2006
